WHAT'S HAPPENING AT IRIS HAVEN?

Some of Heather's floral display work on show during the iris bloom season.
Because of our continuing 'outside commitments' in 2009 andearly 2010 our garden and nursery will remain closed to the public. However, we are determined to continue to provide all of our mail-order customers with the best service possible.

PLEASE do not contact us and request a personal visit to our garden premises, as we are not set-up for public visitations. We remain a mail-order nursery ONLY.

Below you will find details of some of the events which we will be attending during 2009 and early 2010. If you are able to come along to any of these events, please make sure that you make yourself known to us, as we will be happy to say hi.

Heather and Bernard will be speaking at the Camellia Society this evening. Meetings are held at the Baptist Church Hall, Cnr. Park Avenue and Garden Square Pymble. Meetings commence at 7.45pm. Heather will be speaking about Louisiana irises - and how well they grow with camellias. For further details please contact Mrs. Pam Watson on (02) 9653 1036

SUNDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER, 2009
IRIS HAVEN will be exhibiting at the Garden Lovers' Fair, Berry - on the NSW south coast. The event opens at 8.30am and concludes at about 2pm. A small entry fee is payable, with most proceeds going to the local Bushfire Brigade. The event is held at the Berry Showground. Why not make a weekend of it and enjoy the beauty of the NSW south coast?

SATURDAY 24th and SUNDAY 25th OCTOBER, 2009
IRIS HAVEN will be once again exhibiting as part of the popular Bundanoon Garden Ramble event. There will be several gardens open for inspection over the weekend. IRIS HAVEN will have our sale area set up in the Town Hall, which is where you also purchase your garden tickets. Open from 9am to about 4pm on both days, this is a weekend of garden visiting charm, great country folk and wonderful garden-related goodies available for sale. This is our third year of being invited to exhibit - and this event just gets bigger and better every year. Buses can take you to the gardens, so there is no need to drive down - just catch the train and walk approx. 20 metres to the Town Hall to collect your tickets and off you go......

PLEASE COME AND JOIN US AT ANY OF THESE EVENTS - AND IF YOU DO, PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO COME AND SAY HELLO!

EVENTS IN 2010

SATURDAY 17th and SUNDAY 18TH APRIL, 2010
IRIS HAVEN will be exhibiting at the highly popular and extremely well-organised Plant Collectors' Fair at Bilpin this weekend. Site numbers have not been allocated as yet, but we will probably be at the same location as the last three years - that is, Site 13 (or 12A!). We will have our usual assortment of bare-rooted Louisiana, Bearded and interesting Bearless irises, plus bare-rooted Daylilies and lots of interesting cottage perennials.
